O projeto Newbie, financiado pela UE, publicou a sua newsletter. Destaque para a iniciativa portuguesa Km0 Alentejo, da Mediterranean Institute for Agriculture, Environment and Development (MED) da Universidade de Évora, no artigo intulado "The importance of local farmers in times of crisis".
O principal objetivo da rede Newbie é fomentar a inovação, o empreendedorismo e a resiliência no setor agrícola europeu, permitindo que novos empreendedores estabeleçam com sucesso negócios agrícolas sustentáveis na Europa.
